Dr. Mario does an amazing job on the chiropractic and sports medicine therapy. About a year ago, I had herniated disc L4-L5 with severe pain and discomfort that got triggered with much physical activities and heavy lifting with wrong posture. I visited a neurologist and a neurosurgeon. They both recommended surgical treatment after MRI. I started with an epidural injection which greatly helped with inflammation and visited Dr. Mario Tolj who recommended a combination of chiro, spinal decompression, and laser therapy. After a few sessions, my pain was gone, and I was basically back to normal daily activities. I did a post treatment MRI with visible L4-L5 disc improvements. Both my neurosurgeons retracted their recommendation to do surgery after post MRI results. Dr. Mario was the one analyzing the MRI thoroughly to compare before and after. Additionally, Abby was exceptional and so flexible anytime of the day to work with. Very professional team with focus on personalized treatment. I highly recommend nonsurgical and chiro treatment for such back problem as the first step before surgical procedure is considered.

Mario has proved himself to be a step above the quick-fix adjustment style chiropractor, and I knew that from the first session when he went over what you can only assume was the allotted time to get a full history and begin deep tissue work in releasing much of the tension from a lingering knee issue I had. Over the course of three plus months he’s incorporated ART and other techniques to help my knee issues (taking a non-localized approach in releasing my hips/ankle/calves) and the beginning of a frozen shoulder, and for that, I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re looking for a quick crack, there’s plenty of people in the business to do it (I’m sure he’d be willing to also), but if you want a specialized approach with someone who truly cares about figuring out how to help you functionally move to your fullest potential, this is the guy to do it!
